Although this website aims to help you in some of your gardening decisions, there is no substitute for the real thing, and at the Mill Garden Centre, you can browse our well-stocked plant areas and shop or wander through our various display gardens in search of inspiration.

Here at the Mill Garden Centre, we pride ourselves on our ever expanding homegrown stock including, Shrubs, Acers, Conifers and Bedding Plants.

Whether you are a serious gardener, plant collector or interested in something different from the chains, you are sure to find something to suit.

Container and Bedding Plants Ready Now - Grown on Site!

We have a fabulous choice of summer bedding and container plants ready now and perfect for adding colour and scent for the whole summer.

All the old favourites will be available over the next couple of months. Pansies, Viola, Antirrhinum, Lobelia and Sweet Pea are ready now as well as a huge range of basket plants including Bacopa, Surfinia, Friolina Viola.

We always recommend holding off until the latter half of May for softer plants such as Begonia, Marigolds and Salvia. There are many new colours and varieties. Why not add some herbs to your containers making them practical as well as pretty!

Ready filled pots and hanging baskets are available - hand filled by our staff on the premises or you can bring your own containers with you next time you visit and we will fill them for you, tailored to your requirements.
